Feels Like exists to push the boundaries of what interfaces can be, how they work, and how they make you feel. We create new brands, software products, and experiences. About the role

Creative technology at Feels Like sits right where ideas turn into something real. You'll work alongside designers, strategists and developers to take early concepts and make them things people can touch, click and play with, often before anyone is sure they'll work. One week that might mean a Next.js prototype wired up to a handful of AI APIs. The next, a WebGL experiment, an interactive installation, or figuring out why something that worked yesterday doesn't today.

We're looking for a Creative Developer who isn't afraid of the dark. Ambiguity is rife across the industry right now and what will you do about it? You might come from a technical background with a real eye for visuals, or from a creative background and love getting your hands dirty in code. Either way, you can move between both and dial each one up when the project needs it.

What you'll do

  • Build end-to-end interactive prototypes, from the first sketch to something a client can actually try.

  • Connect APIs, AI models and cloud services into experiences that feel alive.

  • Work closely with designers to bring interaction, motion and visual detail to life in code.

  • Debug systematically: isolate the fault, fix it, and write down what happened.

  • Keep build logs and clear documentation so the team can pick up where you left off.

  • Explore new tools and emerging technologies, and share what you learn with the studio.

  • Present your work to the team and, increasingly, to client partners.

  • Contribute to internal experiments and R&D that push the studio forward.

Who we're looking for

You're curious, hands-on and happiest when you're making something. You have a feel for what looks and feels good, and the technical skills to build it. You stay calm when things break, you learn fast, and you bring a growth mindset to a landscape that changes every few months.

  • A portfolio that shows both visual taste and things you've actually built. Game aesthetics, interactive work and playful experiments all count.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Next.js / React.

  • Comfortable working with APIs, GitHub and general technical troubleshooting.

  • A systematic approach to debugging: you isolate faults rather than guess.

  • The habit of keeping build logs and notes, without being asked.

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Codex or GPT as part of how you work.

  • Familiarity with Three.js, WebGL, Unity or cloud platforms is a big plus.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Comfortable presenting and discussing your work with client partners.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a studio, agency, or through your own projects.
